Hi!
I would like to find out, how I can configure, that after writing a title or a header and I click enter, that the next format is standard. As by now I have the situation, that when I click enter after writing a title, the cursor jumps to the next page and keeps the format title.
How can I do that?
Thanks!
Peter

Hi @nathschlaeger,
Thanks for your message!
To better understand the issue, could you please provide a short screen recording that demonstrates the behavior you’re describing? I’ve tried to reproduce the situation based on your description, but haven’t been able to replicate it so far.
A quick video would help us see exactly what’s happening and assist you more effectively
Hi!
Thanks for coming back to me. I am not a screen recording specialist, but I did my best
test-2025-06-30_19.35.54.mkv (2.0 MB)
It is a mkv file. When I click on the given title (August II) and click on enter, it does not jump one or two lines down with standard font, but to the next page without changing the title format.
I would like to achieve, that if I write a title with the correct formatting, and when I click enter, that the cursor jumps one or two lines deeper and the format is being changed to standard or normal
Regards,
Peter

Thank you very much for the screen recording — it was very helpful!
To reproduce the issue on our side, could you please share the file where this behavior occurs? That would save us time and ensure we’re testing under the exact same conditions.
Thanks again for your help!

I opened the file now with another office suite (Softmaker) and checked the configuration. I found out that I accidentaly configured the header, that after hitting enter it makes a page break and keeps the format. In Softmaker Office I am able to configure, that there is no page break and that the next format after hitting enter is standard.
Is there a way to change the format template in ONLYOFFICE?
Thanks,
Peter

If this needs to be submitted as feature request, please let me know
Thanks,

@nathschlaeger
Thank you for sharing these details!
Yes, it would be best if you could create a separate feature topic for this case. Also, if possible, please include a short video or screenshots showing how this behavior works in Softmaker Office — that would help us better understand the feature, as I haven’t come across this specific behavior before.
Thanks a lot!
I have added a feature request and added a link to two videos that show the requested functionality in Softmaker Office.
Best regards,
Peter
