we are trying onlyoffice workspace community on local server. we tryed to connect the mobile app to this server, but when we insert user and password, the app crash or go back to the selection of the address of the portal.
i started the enterprise trial version (thinking that the community version did not support the feature), but the behavior is the same.
question: the app will connect only to the cloud, or there is a way to use an on prem server?
The behavior you describe (app crashes or returns to the portal URL screen right after entering login and password) usually means the app cannot complete authorization on the portal side or there is some problem with the portal URL / HTTPS configuration. To help you properly, please check and share the following details:
Which exact product and version are you using (ONLYOFFICE Workspace Community/Enterprise, version from the Control Panel or About page)?
The full portal URL you enter in the app:
Is it accessible from the phone in a browser?
Does it use a valid public HTTPS certificate (no warnings in the browser)?
Do you use any special login method (SSO / LDAP / external IdP) or just local portal accounts?
Does the issue reproduce for all users or only for one specific account?
Please collect mobile app info:
Device model and Android version
App version (from the app Settings)
If possible, a short screen recording showing the exact steps until the crash.
Also, as a quick test, please try:
Logging into your portal from the same phone in a browser and checking that the web interface works correctly.
Creating a test user with a simple password (ASCII characters only) and trying to log in with this account from the app.
Temporarily disabling any VPN/proxy on the device.
Once we get this information, we’ll be able to check if this is a configuration issue on the portal side or a bug in the mobile app, and advise further.
